Dear Visitor,

We regret to inform you that the Chios Institute for Mediterranean Affairs was dissolved by decision 76/17-05-2011 of the Court of Chios owing to a series of malpractice and mismanagement, for which the Institute's chairman  bears the entire responsibility. Former staff members of the Chios Institute for Mediterranean Affairs are by no means connected with the Institute of Euro-Mediterranean Affairs (IEMA).

If you would like to obtain more information regarding the past activities of the Chios Institute for Mediterranean Affairs (in particular events and publications), you are kindly invited to contact Mathieu Rousselin, researcher at the Centre for Governance and Culture in Europe and Vasilis Rozakis, owner and founder of eGeo.

CIMA is a meeting point for NGOs, entrepreneurs, civil society actors and academics who share an intimate belief: the Mediterranean Sea is a lake. This lake does not separate nations, it connects peoples.
